District and school staff, along with parent leaders, recently visited the LBUSD Center of Black Student Excellence. During the visit, they had the opportunity to explore the center’s programs and resources, observe best practices in action, and gather ideas for supporting student success in our own schools.

Families and students gathered at Billy Mitchell Elementary for the 3rd Annual Soaring Legacies: A Family Celebration of Black History Month, and the energy was nothing short of amazing! From the moment the RAP cheer kicked off the evening, it was clear that this event was going to be special.
