Where formal education ends, the Realizing Amazing Potential (R.A.P.) program begins. Featuring STEAM curriculum, coding, and robotics. 6:45 AM - 8:30 AM and 2:30 PM - 6:00 PM sessions.

The Southwest Special Education Local Plan Area Community Advisory Committee recently held its 13th Annual Staff & Community Partners Awards Night, honoring outstanding staff and community members who support students with disabilities. Lawndale Elementary School District proudly celebrated three staff members who were honored for their dedication, compassion, and commitment to helping students and families thrive.

Roosevelt Elementary School in Lawndale, California, recently celebrated the unveiling of a vibrant new collaborative mural adjacent to the school library.
 
The mural, a stunning reflection of student voice and creativity, was created by renowned artist Stephanie Mercado in partnership with nearly 70 fifth-grade students through ESMoA STARTlab, a free arts education program offered by ESMoA in collaboration with Lawndale Elementary School District libraries.
