COVID-19 Plans & Resources
The Lawndale Elementary School District (LESD) is committed to maintaining high health and safety standards in our schools and we have prepared extensively for the full in-person return to school. Our approach is multilayered and is guided by expertise from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LACDPH), California Department of Public Health (CDPH), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and is subject to change based on updated health orders and the needs of our community.
LESD also offers an Independent Study program for the 2022-2023 academic school year. For more information about our Independent Study program, click here.
