About the California School Boards
Election Method
LESD has adopted elections "by trustee area".
The LESD Board of Trustees comprises duly elected trustees who serve four-year terms. Each Board member has successfully completed the California School Boards Association Masters in Governance Program. The Lawndale Elementary School District Governing Board encourages community members to attend School Board meetings and welcomes views on pertinent subjects.
