Covid-19 Dashboard

The District and our schools are committed to providing accurate and transparent information regarding current COVID-19 cases on our campuses, while also maintaining privacy and confidentiality for our students and staff.

The data below represents the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases among students and staff on our campuses (in-person only) during the infectious period within a 14-day period. This data will be updated regularly and as cases are confirmed and determined to have been on our campuses during the infectious period. In the event of a positive case, the affected school community is notified directly.

In the event there is a confirmed positive case that was at the school during the infectious period, "close contacts" (within 6 feet for 15+ minutes) will be contacted immediately by school staff and will receive a letter with pertinent instructions and information regarding quarantine.

The school community will receive a courtesy notification via email regarding any positive cases that were on campus during the infectious period. The notification includes important reminders to stay home when sick, practice good hand and respiratory hygiene, and wear a face covering when around others.

Students: If your child is suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19 or has been in close contact with someone suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19 and is attending school in-person, parents/guardians must notify the school office as soon as possible. Your child must quarantine and should seek medical advice from your healthcare provider.

Please note, COVID-19 related absences are excused absences. Contact your school attendance clerk for more information.

Staff: If you or a close contact of yours is suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19, you must quarantine and should notify your supervisor or human resources representative as soon as possible.

Please note, you may be entitled to COVID-19 benefits under applicable federal, state, and/ or local laws, including, but not limited to, COVID-19 related leave (if available), sick leave pursuant to the collective bargaining agreement, state mandated leave, supplemental sick leave, negotiated leave provisions and workers compensation.

If you believe you contracted a COVID-19-related illness as a result of your employment, you may be entitled to workers' compensation benefits. If it is determined the COVID-19-related illness arose out of and in the course of employment, you may be entitled to compensation including full hospital, surgical, and medical treatment, disability indemnity, and death benefits. To file a workers' compensation claim, please notify your supervisor that you believe your COVID-19-related illness is work-related and file a DWC 1 Claim Form pursuant to Labor Code Section 5401. Not necessarily. School closure is based on many factors - not just the number of cases at one particular location. Individual school closure might be recommended based on the number of epidemiologically linked cases, the percentage of the school population that is positive for COVID-19, local epidemiological data, and/or as directed by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LACDPH). Any determination for school closure is made in consultation with the District and LACDPH.
