Intradistrict Transfer (School Transfer)

• All requests for admission will be placed on a waiting list.
• School Transfers will be approved ONLY when space becomes available. (Some sites and/or grade levels will not have space while others we won’t know until the summer months).
• Students who live within a school’s attendance area have first priority for attending that school.
• Siblings of students already attending the school of choice will receive priority.  (Except for Dual Immersion)
• Until approval of a School Transfer request is given, students must enroll in the home school in which they reside.
• Parents/guardians who request the transfer are responsible for their child’s transportation.
• Once enrolled in a school through a School Transfer, selected students are now considered to be residing in that school’s attendance area.  However, if it is determined to be in the best interest of the child, the permit may be revoked.
