Returning Student Update Form

All returning students are required to complete the Returning Student Update Form annually. This form provides important information that helps our district support your student and is required by Board policy and state law. The form will be available beginning May 27, 2026, and should be submitted by August 20, 2026. If you have any questions about the update form, please contact your home school directly. During the summer break, please contact the district at (310) 973-1300 or email enrollment@lawndalesd.net.

Returning Student Update Form

Steps 

To access the Returning Student Update Form, the parent/guardian on file will receive a unique code called a "snapcode" via email for each returning student. Please be sure to follow the steps outlined in the email, which are also listed below.
 
Step 1: Retrieve the Snapcode sent to you through email by Lawndale Elementary School District
 
Step 2: Click on the Student Update Form link in the email or use the link below to access the form:

Step 3: Enter your Snapcode and sign into PowerSchool

If you forget your password, please reset it and sign in. Once you sign in, return to the links above and enter your Snapcode again. Please follow these instructions; otherwise, you will not see the 2026-27 Returning Student Form!

Step 4: Click on the 2026-27 Returning Student Form and complete all required fields.

 


Tips

  • Use a computer to complete the form! 
  • Clear your browsing history, cached images, and cookies.
  • If you did not receive the email with the Snapcode, check your SPAM folder or the other parent/legal guardian's email.
  • Ensure that your email is not bouncing.
  • If you changed your email address, please contact your school or district office.
  • If you are missing the snapcode for one of your children, please contact your school or district office.

Purchase school device insurance (Optional)

We recommend that families purchase school device insurance to cover instances of accidental damage, loss, and theft! This insurance covers the school year and will require an annual application.
