Welcome to Family University
Empowering Parents, Strengthening Students
Family University is Lawndale Elementary School District’s commitment to partnering with families for student success. We offer a variety of workshops, training sessions, and resources designed to help parents and caregivers build skills, stay informed, and become active partners in their child’s learning journey.
From practical tools for supporting academics at home to information about health, wellness, and community services, Family University equips families with the knowledge and confidence to help every student thrive.

Leadership & Mentorship
Parents can also participate by leading, mentoring, and supporting.
Lead & Mentor: Take on leadership and mentorship roles on parent committees, offering your perspective on the parent experience and helping guide important district decisions.
Serve & Support: Volunteer your time and talents to strengthen our schools, programs, and community events. Connect with other families, learn from experts, and discover ways to make a meaningful impact.
