The Family Support Group for G.A.T.E. and high-achieving students is a dedicated space where families can connect, share experiences, and access guidance. Established in response to parents’ advocacy, the group reflects the district’s commitment to nurturing each student’s unique potential.
Purpose:
- Build Community: Connect with other families navigating the journey of high-achieving students.
- Support Students’ Needs: Address both academic and social-emotional growth, recognizing that high-achieving students may experience challenges differently.
- Empower Parents: Gain strategies to effectively communicate with teachers and advocate for your child’s needs.
Through collaborative activities and shared resources, families are guided in supporting their children’s learning and well-being, while providing the district with insights to enhance student support.
