On April 17, our highly anticipated First LEGO League Challenge took place, showcasing the hard work and creativity of students from Ms. Peracha’s class at Will Rogers Middle School and Mr. Bedor’s class at Jane Addams Middle School. After months of preparation, the students finally had the opportunity to put their skills to the test in a friendly yet competitive environment.

Mark Friedman from the Los Angeles Maritime Institute visited both Will Rogers and Jane Addams Middle Schools, engaging 8th-grade students in their Period 4 computer programming/TREC class. These students are participating in the First Lego League Challenge, where they apply STEM skills to solve real-world problems.
